Hello! Konichiwa! I missed posting on this blog!
I took a few days off because I was just exhausted and had some catching up to do for school :p
Enough excuses because I have a lot to say :)
I left for my "mini-vacation" on September 27 2013 at the Oxnard Transit Center on a Greyhound Bus. Unfortunately though the bus was an HOUR LATE and also on the way to Santa Maria and all most of the stops afterward the bus kept having engine malfunctions. Which was definitely not cool because every time the bus stopped it took about 15 minutes to start up again. So instead of a 8 hour ride it ended up being around 10 hours. I was cranky and my but hurt. The only reason why I didn't kill anybody was the fact that there was Wifi on the bus. If there was none. Something bad would have happened.
[Not a very happy camper in this picture. I was a bit irritated]
[Paso Robles was such a cute little town in wine country. I loved it]
[Seeing Ceasar Chavez, strawberry fields, and lots of Hispanic culture in Watsonville made me think of Oxnard. Watsonville is the Oxnard of Northern California]
[On the way out of Santa Cruz. I cried. I really wanted to stay there forever. I felt at home. Like more home than I feel in Oxnard. Someday I will live there and hug the trees. It is a promise]
After the terribly long ass bus ride I made in San Jose and waited for my Auntie to pick me up. I stayed at her house and just hung out with my cousins waiting for Sunday. The reason why I missed 2 school days was because I wanted to go to a book sale. Not just any book sale, it was a warehouse the size of my gym (maybe a bit bigger ((ok now I think about it twice as big)) with tables and tables of books that were only $1. This is the first year I got the opportunity to go and I want to go next year also. There was sooo many books! About EVERYTHING. I grabbed a cart and just started grabbing whatever I thought was good and sorted them out later. The place only opened like 5 minutes ago and people already had carts filled to the brim. It was safe to say I was in heaven.
[I thought it was a pretty view. To the far right is where the big book sale took place]
[The entrance to heaven]
[My grandma, my auntie, myself, and even my little cousin each had our own carts]
[We spent about $145 in books which is an outragously good deal! I brought 53 pounds of those books home with me]
[We could not bring the cart with us to the car so we had to bring the bags one by one]
[Thank you mister for this nice photo-bomb as well as your random tape measure on your belt]
After the book sale we strolled Japantown. I was anticipating the usual SF weather (i.e wind, fog, rain, and gloomyness) but the weather was PERFECT! Sunny and warm which I would consider very rare. I have not been to the Japantown since I was like 8 or 9 I really wanted to go. So we and hung out a bit.

[I look like such a #tourist]
[#Tourist here too. Very #tourist LOL]
[I thought this shirt was sick but I ended up not getting it]
[I blocked the people going up the stairs. #tourist]

[Lots of cosplay the particular day I went. I love these characters and they were nice to take a picture with me. I also think the characters on the far right and left were men. I thought that was very bad-ass!]
[The mall had a Japanese style crepe place and I figured I would never get the chance again so I tried it. It was worth it. It was too cute to eat!]
[I was a happy camper]
[Bonsai. Bonsai everywhere. Shhhhh I would have gotten in a lot of trouble]
[Good day Jizo Sama]
[Do you see its massive penis. You Perv]

[Starting to get dark. We had to leave about this time]
[Yes. I brought home an orchid]
[This was a ride for 13 year olds and younger. Growing Up sucks]
So, yeah that was my trip to San Francisco. It was worth the 10 hours sitting on my ass. I just loved being in the city. It is both really disgusting and beautiful at the same time. The culture is soo different than in Oxnard. I cried as I left the city and viewed its gorgeous night time sky-line. I miss it already but I know I'll be hopefully coming back soon. To fully experience San Francisco you have to spend about a week there. I will someday :)
